Exiting the driveway, turn left onto VT-100. Continue through the town of Waterbury Center, past the Cold Hollow Cider Mill on the right.
Once you're back in the countryside, you might see sleigh rides or snow-mobiling if it's wintertime. In summer there's a chance you'll catch the Stowe Antique and Classic Car Show.
When you spot Umiak Outdoor Outfitters on the right you've reached the outskirts of Stowe village.
If you're headed for the mountain for skiing or hiking, turn left at the 3-way stop sign in the center of town. Or take some time to stroll around town for some shopping, gallery hopping and a bite to eat. |
